First anniversary

Firm Ground Engineering is celebrating its first anniversary. In the past year we have worked on some very exciting projects at the interface of ground and water.

We have been contributing to the conservation and risk-based monitoring of bridges and quay walls in the old city of Amsterdam. With ProRail, we are developing trials to reduce railway induced vibrations. In New Zealand, we have assisted our partner A O’Sullivan & Associates with the design of foundations and assessing driveability of piles. Closer to home, we used our geotechnical design skills to support Interra and their clients. This year also marks our membership of Kristal Compagnie.

Of course, we celebrated. With cake! Many thanks to our clients and partners for their trust and constructive co-operation. And a big thank you to all of those who supported Firm Ground Engineering in its earliest days (and before and after). Our first anniversary is worth celebrating. And we are looking forward to the years ahead.
